unfeeling, hard-hearted, ruthless, S. Aj. 946 (lyr.); ἀναλγητότερος εἶναι to feel less resentment, Th. 3.40; c. gen., ἀ. γενέσθαι τινός to be insensible to, Plu. Aem. 35. Adv. -τως unfeelingly, S.
