poet. ἄγκρισις, εως, ἡ, (ἀνακρίνω II. 1) examination of the qualifications of magistrates, Poll. 8.85. (ἀνακρίνω II. 2) previous examination of parties concerned in a suit, preparation of the matter for trial, X. Smp. 5.2, etc., cf. PSI 4.392 (iii BC), OGI 374 (pl.), Act.
