mit schönen Früchten, Hom. μηλέαι, Od. 7.115, 11.589 ; Σικελία Pind. frg. 73 ; ἐλαῖαι H.h. Cer. 23 (wie Opp. H. 4.272 ; vgl. darüber Plut. Symp. 5.8); doch ist ἑταῖραι vorzuziehen, in der Bdtg wie auch v. 4 Δημήτηρ die schöne Früchte verleihende heißt (so auch Orph. H. 1.6 ; Νύμφαι ib. 51), u. Θέτις bei Pind. N. 3.56 (ed. II. Böckh.), wo nicht an schönhändig zu denken, sondern die schöne Kinder gebärende.
