slipshod, of literary style, Cic. QF 2.15 (16).5 (Comp.). of things, care-free, easy, βίος Isoc. 4.108; ῥαθυμοτάτη καταφυγή Id. 11.45; τὰ ῥαθυμότατα αἱρεῖσθαι Pl. Cri. 45d, cf. Arist. Rh. 1368b18. Adv. -μως carelessly, Pl. Lg. 659b, etc. much like ῥᾳδίως, lightly, with equanimity, ῥ. φέρειν And. 4.23, Pl. R. 549d; ὑποφέρειν Id. Lg. 879c; ῥ. ἔχειν Isoc. 12.17; περί τι Plb. 4.7.6; Comp. -ότερον Isoc. 6.56, 7.10; ῥαθυμοτέρως διάγειν Arist. Pol. 1335b17; διακείμενοι Aen.Tact. 26.2.
