εως, ἡ, indication, ἔνδειξιν τῷ λόγῳ ἐνδείκνυσθαι, opp. ἐννοεῖν, Pl. Lg. 966b, cf. Plb. 3.38.5, Ep. Rom. 3.25, A.D. Synt. 14.18, Ptol.    c) die Anzeige, Anklage, Andoc. 1.10, u. öfter bei Rednern ; im Gesetz bei Dem. 24.22, ἔνδ. ἔστω αὐτῶν πρὸς τοὺς θεσμοθέτας ; nach den VLL, wo das Verbrechen ausgemacht ist, also nur eine Anzeige, um die gesetzliche Strafe eintreten zu lassen.
