R. 364e, D. 19.48, 54, etc. ; ἔκγ- is v.l. in ll.cc., and may be right in Arist. Pol. 1335a13, cf. ib. b30; τὰ ἔγγονα issue, Inscr.Cos 36a4, PFreib. 10.8, etc. ; of animals, Ph. 2.396, al. ; Ἔρως πυρὸς ἔγγονε APl. 4.212 (Alph.).
