      1 à satiété, assez : ἔδμεναι ἅδην, IL. 5, 203, manger à satiété ; avec le gén. ἅδ. ἔχειν τινός, PLAT. Charm. 153 d, avoir assez de qqe ch. ; avec un part. ἄδ. εἶχον κτείνοντες, HDT. 9, 39, ils étaient las de tuer ; avec un suj. de chose et un dat. de pers. οἱ λόγοι ἅδ. ἔχουσιν ἡμῖν, PLAT. Rsp. 541 b, ces discours sont superflus pour nous ;
      2 p. suite, abondamment, complètement : Τρῶας ἅδ. ἐλάσαι πολέμοιο, IL. 19, 423 (avant) d’avoir battu complètement les Troyens.
