Mu. 394b23, Vent. 973a13, al. — The Ion. form ἀπηλιώτης is retained in Att., and appears on the Tower of Andronicus Cyrrhestes, CIG 518; ἀφηλιώτης on a later table of the winds, IG 14.1308, and in Latin authors, Catull. 26.3, Seneca QN 5.16.4, Gell. 2.22.8.
