ἀντι·άνειρα, ας [ιᾰ] adj. f. :
      1 égale à un homme, virile, ép. des Amazones, IL. 3, 189, etc. ; d’Athèna, COL. 170 ;
      2 qui se fait d’homme à homme : στάσις ἀ. PD. O. 12, 17, guerre civile.

ἡ, (< ἀντί, ἀνήρ), fem. form of a masc. in -άνωρ or -ήνωρ ; in Il. always as epith. of the Amazons, a match for men, 3.189, 6.186, etc. ; so of Athena, Coluth. 170. in Pi. O. 12.16 στάσις ἀντιάνειρα faction wherein man is set against man.
