      2 non convaincu (d’une faute) XÉN. Cyn. 13, 7 ; DÉM. 782, 3 ; ANT. 116, 10 ; d’où irréprochable, PLUT. Pel. 4 ;
      3 que l’on ne peut prouver : ἀνδρεῖον ἀν. THC. 4, 126, courage qui ne saurait être constaté ; en parl. d’événements, impossible à vérifier ou à contrôler rigoureusement, THC. 1, 21.

ον, incapable of disproof or criticism, Th. 1.21; τὸν λόγον ἀ. ποιεῖν Arist.
