1) die Schale, mit der das Opferblut aufgefangen wird, Hom. einmal, Od. 3.444 Περσεὺς δ' ἀμνίον εἶχε, hielt die Blutschale ; Zenodot hatte in seinem nach dem Alphabet geordneten Glossarium das Wort unter Δ, schrieb also (ohne Akzent) δαμνιον, s. Scholl.; Apollodor meinte, man müsse αἱμνίον schreiben, ibid.
