σφή, σφόν, their, their own, belonging to them, Il. 1.534, Sappho 10, Pi. P. 5.102, etc. (never in Att.). in post-Hom. Poets also, his or her, his own or her own, Hes. Th. 398, Alcm. 56A, Thgn. 712, Call. Aet. Oxy. 2080.75. = σός, Orph. L. 168. = ἐμός, CR 11.136 (Phrygia, metr.). = σφωΐτερος, your (in addressing a pair), v.l. in Il. 11.142. (σφός is to σφε, σφέτερος as ἡμός (< ἁμός) to ἁμέ, ἡμέτερος.)

im sing. sein, ihr, = ἑός. Gew. = σφέτερος, auf eine Mehrheit der Besitzer gehend, ihr, ἐπισπόμενοι μένεϊ σφῷ, Od. 14.262, u. öfter ; Hes. Es verhält sich zu σφέτερος, wie ὑμός zu ὑμέτερος. Bei sp.D. auch σφέος, s. oben.
