EE 1235a38, LXX Jb. 7.19, Hsch. s.v. σίαλος. — The forms in πτυαλ- and πτυελ- are found in codd. of Hp. (v. Kuehlewein i p. cvi) and of later writers; in those of Arist. the latter only is found.
