zsgzn κατάρρους, ουν, herabfließend, Philostr. Gew. subst., der Herabfluß, das Herabfließen, ὑπὸ ῥεύματός τε καὶ κατάρρου πάντα χρήματα ἔχεσθαι Plat. Crat. 440d. Bei den Medic. bes. das Herabziehen des Krankheitsstoffes nach einem Teile hin, bes. in den Mund hinein, Katarth ; so οἱ κατάρρῳ νοσοῦντες Plat. a.a.O., vgl. Rep. III.405d.
