a) als Gewicht betrug die attische Drachme 82 1/7 Pariser Gran, oder 1,193961 Preußische Quentchen ; die äginetische Drachme war = 1⅔, attische.
b) als Silbermünze, = 6 Obolen, der hundertste Teil der Mine, etwa 4 Gr. Gold, etwas über 7½ Sgr. nach dem älteren, 7 Sgr. 1.68 Ps. nach dem neueren Münzfuße. Die äginetische Drachme hatte 10 attische Obolen. Nach Hesych. gab es auch eine Golddrachme, die wahrscheinlich 10 Silberdrachmen wert war. Die erste Silbe findet sich lang Ar. Vesp. 689, Pax 1200, Pl. 1020 u. in einigen Fragm. der Komiker, wo Bergk die von Hesych. aufbewahrte Form δαρχμή zu schreiben vorschlägt.
